The Sutter County Children & Families Commission is excited to announce
the arrival of the new "Kit for New Parents" from
First 5 California.
Valued at $75, the kit contains all the parenting information, advice and
useful tips first time parents need to best prepare for the joys and
challenges that lie ahead. The Kit for New Parents is available in English
and Spanish and features celebrity hosted DVD's and Advice for New Parents
booklet, a Parent's Guide, "What to do when your child gets sick"
book and Baby's First book "Puppy and Friends". In addition the
kit contains informational leaflets and a poison control magnet. The Sutter
County Children & Families Commission adds an infant toothbrush and Smiles
Savers book.
The Sutter County Children & Families Commission can connect
you and your family to services and community resources and a brochure is
included in the Kit for New Parents. The Sutter County Children & Families
Commission works cooperatively with a variety of community partners to distribute
