Many of the services are offered by the Sutter County Health and Human Services Department which includes the Public Health, Behavioral Health and Welfare & Social Services divisions as well as the Children's & Families Commission.

    The Yuba-Sutter Juvenile Hall is a 45 bed detention facility for offenders under 18 years of age. Comprehensive correctional service programs, educational and mental health services are provided to residents.
