At Sutter County Children & Families Commission, we focus on the first 5 years of life. We want all Sutter County children to have a strong foundation, so they can reach their full potential. Sutter County Children & Families Commission is committed to ensuring all children ages 0 to 5 are born healthy and raised in nurturing homes and communities. The Sutter County Children & Families Commission and its programs are Tobacco Tax (Prop 10) Funded Programs.

Our Mission:
In partnership with the community, Sutter County Children & Families Commission coordinates services that support families to ensure that each child enters school healthy and ready to learn.

Sutter County Children & Families Commission is led by a Commission made up of nine individuals appointed by the Sutter County Board of Supervisors. The Commission adopts a strategic plan that addressed identified challenges, strengths and problems faced by children 0 to 5 and their families and funds programs and services that align with the plan.
