Adult non-citizens who are aged, blind or disabled, have met all other SSI/SSP criteria, reside in California and meet resource/income limits for the program.

Applications for the CAPI Program are accepted Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm at our 190 Garden Hwy, Yuba City office.

Once an application is accepted, an intake review completed, and all required verifications received the application packet will be forwarded to the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance CAPI office for review and determination of eligibility.

Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance is the lead County in the North State CAPI Consortium. Sacramento County processes applications and maintains continuing cases for Sutter County CAPI applicants and beneficiaries. Please insure to note their phone # 916-874-3100 as they may require further information to process your application and will reach out by phone or mail.

Once determined eligible to the CAPI Program all further communications will come from Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance. If you receive a request for further information, please provide as quickly as possible but no later than the due date indicated on the paperwork you receive.  All inquiries about your continuing case should be directed to their office.
