Alert (March 30, 2023):
The California Department of Public Health has released an alert letter for Xlyazine in the drug supply.
Xylazine is an animal tranquilizer which is reaching the US illicit drug supply where it is known as “tranq" or “tranq dope." Xylazine has been linked to an increasing number of overdose deaths nationwide, it is an emerging issue in California. Click on the "What is Xylazine?" tile below for more information.
