The Sutter County Agricultural Commissioner is required to determine when an unusual weather related incident has caused severe physical property or production losses that adversely affect local farmers, ranchers, and/or aquaculturists. In order to qualify for federal disaster assistance, the County must file a "Disaster Report" to the California Office of Emergency Services within 60 days.
